Hey look, the sterile backgrounds of an office building are disappearing! Quite honestly, I hate drawing panels without backgrounds…or minimal backgrounds. However, there are a few exceptions to my mania. From a story-telling perspective I figured that the antiseptic-like background of these last pages really fit well with the somberness of the situation.

It’s the Fourth of July! Independence Day! I’m writing this post quite a few days in advance, so you are all probably off doing wonderful things with your loved ones, and I hope that rings true.
